Eligible assessments can be paid in two 50% instalments.
Means-tested support may be available for selected services.
The fees shown are a guide. Additional charges may apply where clinician travel is required or clinic space needs to be hired away from our main Broadstairs base. We will explain any additional costs and agree the total fee with you before you book.

Discovery Needs Profile & Consultation
£199A professional review of your Discovery Needs Profile and a one-hour appointment with a clinician to explore strengths, functional barriers, support priorities and suitable next steps.

Navigate Pathway — Adults

Navigate Pathway — Children & Young People
EnquireAn initial parent/carer appointment followed by six personalised sessions with the child or young person. Age-appropriate support to understand their diagnosis and explore what helps.
Psychological Therapies
£120Psychosocial intervention, counselling, CBT, DBT and EMDR, available online or face-to-face subject to clinical suitability.
Speech and Language Therapy
£120–£180Includes a one-page summary of findings and recommended next steps.
Sleep Coaching
£350Personalised autism and anxiety-informed sleep support for babies, toddlers and young children.

You do not need a diagnosis to understand your needs or access suitable support. These options explore strengths, barriers, everyday functioning and practical next steps.
Discovery Needs Profile & Consultation
£199A structured review of your completed Discovery Needs Profile, followed by a one-hour clinician appointment to explore strengths, functional barriers, priorities and next steps.
Psychosocial Needs Assessment
£1,495An in-depth assessment of psychological, social and functional needs, including the impact on everyday life, relationships, education, work, wellbeing and independence.
Workplace Needs Assessment
£750Explores strengths, barriers and functional needs within employment, training or higher education, whether or not the person has a diagnosis.

Autism and ADHD assessments
£50 of the pre-screening fee is credited towards a full assessment. QbCheck and school-observation add-ons are £300 each where appropriate.
Dyslexia and dyscalculia assessments
Assessments are available for children, students and adults from eight years of age. £50 of the pre-screening fee is credited towards a full assessment.
Speech, language and communication assessments
The detailed report may be suitable for use as supporting evidence during the EHCP process.
Discovery and needs assessments
These services explore strengths, barriers and functional support needs. A confirmed diagnosis is not required. Discovery does not provide a diagnosis. The £199 profile and consultation and the £480 session block are priced separately.
Irlen Syndrome assessment
Available from six years of age through to adulthood. Includes a screening form, written report, recommendations and one overlay.
Flexible payment options
Contact us to discuss the most appropriate payment arrangement before booking.
BACS transfer
Pay securely by bank transfer. No additional Lycali fee is charged for BACS payments.
Debit or credit card
Secure debit and credit card payments are processed through Stripe.
Assessment instalments
Pay 50% when booking, followed by the remaining 50% when the assessment is complete and before the final report is released.
Private medical insurance
We work with several insurers, including Aviva, AXA, Bupa and Vitality. Please confirm your individual cover before booking.
Pay-later providers
Klarna or PayPal Pay Later may be available, subject to the provider’s eligibility checks and approval.
Reduced-fee assessments
Subject to eligibility and availability, reductions of up to 20% may be available for autism, ADHD and speech and language assessments.
