Neurodivergent Coaching for Adolescents and Adults
Turn Self-Understanding Into Strategies That Work in Real Life
Lycali provides practical, neuro-affirming coaching for neurodivergent adolescents and adults. We help you understand what gets in the way, build systems around how you actually think and work, and turn goals into realistic next steps for daily life, education, employment and relationships.
More Than a Conversation: A Practical 1:1 Coaching Programme
Coaching is delivered through a block of 6 individualised sessions. You will identify meaningful goals, test practical strategies between sessions and build a personal action plan that fits your strengths, responsibilities, communication style and capacity.
Pre-Session Questionnaire
A focused questionnaire helps us understand your goals, barriers, context and preferred ways of working before sessions begin.
Individualised Sessions
Each session centres on your priorities, with relevant strategies, tools and resources selected for your situation.
Practical Experiments
Try small, realistic changes for routines, organisation, regulation, communication and follow-through.
Reflection & Action Plan
Between-session reflection helps identify what works, what needs adapting and what should become part of your ongoing plan.

Is Coaching the Right Service?
Good support starts with the right scope. Lycali will discuss whether coaching matches your goals and current needs.
| Support | Most Helpful When |
|---|---|
| Neurodivergent Coaching | You want practical, goal-focused support, are ready to try strategies and would benefit from structure, reflection and accountability. |
| Psychoeducation | Your main priority is understanding autism, ADHD or dyslexia, making sense of a diagnosis and identifying broader next steps. |
| Psychotherapy or Psychology | The primary concern is significant anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional distress or another mental health need requiring therapeutic support. |
Who Is Coaching For?
A formal diagnosis is not always required. Coaching may be suitable for adolescents and adults with autism, ADHD or dyslexia diagnoses, or where relevant traits are suspected.
Adolescents
Age-appropriate support for school or college demands, routines, confidence, organisation, communication and increasing independence.
Adults
Practical coaching for work, study, home life, relationships, later diagnosis, executive functioning and life transitions.
Parent or Caregiver Involvement
Parents or caregivers can be involved where appropriate and agreed, helping strategies transfer into everyday routines.
Common Questions
Do I need a formal diagnosis?
No. Coaching may be suitable if you have an autism, ADHD or dyslexia diagnosis, are awaiting assessment or recognise relevant traits. Lycali will discuss suitability with you.
How is Lycali coaching different from generic life coaching?
Lycali coaching is neuro-affirming, delivered by experienced clinicians and specialist practitioners with neurodevelopmental expertise, and connected to wider assessment, therapy and post-diagnostic pathways where appropriate.
What is included in the six-session block?
The block includes a pre-session questionnaire, six individualised sessions, relevant strategies and resources, between-session reflection and an ongoing action plan.
Can I book a single session?
Yes. The structured six-session programme is £600, and individual sessions are also available at £120.
Can coaching help with anxiety or overwhelm?
Coaching can support practical strategies where anxiety or overwhelm is linked to uncertainty, routines, communication or everyday demands. Significant mental health concerns may be better supported through psychotherapy or psychology.
Will every programme cover the same topics?
No. Goals, content, pace and resources are adapted to the person's context, priorities, communication preferences and capacity.
Can a parent or caregiver be involved?
Yes, where this is appropriate and agreed. Involvement can help an adolescent apply strategies consistently outside sessions.
What if coaching is not the right service?
Lycali will be transparent about scope. The team can discuss whether psychoeducation, psychotherapy, psychology, assessment or another support pathway may be more suitable.
