Autism & ADHD Psychoeducation for children & adults

What is Psychoeducation?

Psychoeducation is about learning together how emotions, thoughts, and behaviours connect. It’s not just about receiving information, it’s about building understanding, confidence, and practical skills that support everyday life after an Autism or ADHD diagnosis.

Sessions are collaborative, neuro-affirming, and tailored to individual needs, helping people make sense of their diagnosis and move forward with clarity and confidence.

  • Understanding “why” reduces uncertainty. When children learn how their brain works, they feel less confused and less alone.

  • We frame neurodivergence in a neuroaffirming way, focusing on strengths as well as differences.

  • We create space to discuss:

    • School stress

    • Friendships

    • Masking

    • Emotional overwhelm

    • Transitions (e.g. moving school, exams)

  • We teach individualised practical strategies.
