About Annabel

Annabel is a highly experienced HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with over 13 years of post-qualifying experience, working with children, young people, and adults across specialist NHS and private neurodevelopmental services. 

Annabel holds an MSc (with Distinction) in Occupational Therapy from the University of East Anglia and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Nottingham. Her background spans specialist NHS and private neurodevelopmental services, including a national tertiary service at the Evelina Children's Hospital, Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, where she facilitated neurodevelopmental assessments within multidisciplinary teams for children and young people with complex presentations. 

Annabel is trained in a range of diagnostic assessment tools, including the ADOS-2, ADI-R, ACIA and MIGDAS-2, and approaches all assessments using neuro-affirming and person-centred frameworks. She has worked with children, young people, and adults throughout her career, and values working collaboratively with families, carers, and wider professional teams to ensure each individual receives the most appropriate and meaningful support. 

Alongside her neurodevelopmental practice, Annabel has a specialist interest in feeding differences, including ARFID, having worked within a dedicated complex feeding clinic delivering assessment and intervention using the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) approach.  

Annabel is also a qualified Transformative Coach (Accredited Diploma, Animas Coaching) and integrates a coaching approach into her practice, supporting individuals to build self-understanding, identify their strengths, and work towards their personal goals.
