Broadstairs Clinic

Lycali appointments may take place at our Broadstairs clinic based within the Kent Innovation Centre.

Parking and Arrival

Free visitor parking is available directly outside the building. Please look for signs for the Innovation Centre from the main road.

When You Arrive

For weekday appointments, please sign in at reception and wait for your clinician to collect you.

For Saturday appointments, the building may be locked. Please arrive at your appointment time and your clinician will collect you from the front entrance.

Inside the Building

  • Reception seating is available.
  • A lift and stairs are available.
  • The clinic room is located on the second floor.
  • Toilets are available on each floor.
  • A quiet kitchen space, vending machine and water fountains are available.

Finding the Clinic

The postcode should take you close to the entrance. Please be aware that the clinic is located by the canal, so you may see boats when you arrive.

Parking and Access

Clients are welcome to leave their car in the car park.

Nearby Facilities

The clinic is approximately a 5-minute drive from Aylesbury town centre. Parents and carers are welcome to pop out during suitable parts of the appointment if this has been agreed with the clinician.

Whitstable Clinic

Lycali also hires clinic space at Whitstable Bay Psychotherapy Service.

Location

The clinic is on the outskirts of Whitstable and is within easy reach of Whitstable, Canterbury, Herne Bay and Thanet.

  • Approximately 10 minutes by car from Canterbury.
  • Approximately 5 minutes by car from Herne Bay.
  • Close to Thanet and surrounding areas.

Parking and Accessibility

Disabled access is available at the practice. Parking is available immediately outside the practice.

We want your visit to feel as calm and predictable as possible. Please check your appointment confirmation carefully for the clinic location, date and time.

Arrive on Time

Please arrive at your appointment time, or a few minutes early where appropriate.
Bring Comfort Items

You are welcome to bring fidget toys, headphones, snacks, drinks or comfort items.

Lycali uses more than one clinic location, so please check your confirmation email before travelling.

What to Expect on the Day

Your clinician will explain what will happen during the appointment and will support you or your child throughout the session.

Depending on the type of appointment, the session may involve discussion, assessment activities, questionnaires, structured observations or therapy activities.

You are welcome to let us know in advance if there is anything that would help make the visit easier, such as reduced waiting time, sensory considerations, communication needs or accessibility requirements.

Parking

Ample parking is available. Please Park in any bay without a reserved sign.

Good access via bus or walking

There is a bus stop within a 5 minute walk.

Inside a public bus with passengers seated, yellow poles and handrails, and emergency exit instructions on the windows.

What to expect when you arrive?

Please let the reception team know that you have an appointment. Your allocated clinician will collect you from the reception area.
