Assessments are completed by a Level 7 Specialist Teacher Assessor who is an Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA). Assessments are completed in line with SASC guidance and use standardised assessment tools alongside educational history and professional judgement.

What Happens During the Assessment?

Can dyscalculia occur with dyslexia or ADHD?
Yes. Dyscalculia can occur alongside dyslexia, ADHD, autism, developmental language difficulties and other learning differences.
Can the assessment support exam arrangements?
Where appropriate, findings and recommendations may support discussion with schools, colleges or universities about reasonable adjustments and access arrangements. Decisions about exam arrangements are made by the education provider in line with relevant rules.
Can dyscalculia assessments be completed online?
Due to the nature of standardised assessment materials and testing procedures, dyscalculia assessments are usually completed face-to-face.

For assessment services, we offer the option to pay in two instalments. The total fee can be split into two payments of 50%:
50% is payable at the time of booking to secure your assessment appointment.
The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the assessment, prior to the release of the final report.
There is no additional fee if paying via BACS.
