Carbon Reduction Plan
Lycali Ltd is committed to reducing its environmental impact and achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
Commitment to Achieving Net Zero
Lycali Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
As an independent provider of neurodevelopmental assessment, therapy and support services, Lycali recognises its responsibility to minimise environmental impact whilst continuing to deliver safe, effective and accessible services.
The organisation is committed to embedding sustainable practices across its operations and continually reviewing opportunities to reduce its carbon footprint.
Baseline Emissions Footprint
Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases produced by an organisation before the implementation of carbon reduction initiatives. They provide the reference point against which future emissions reductions can be measured.
Baseline Year: 2026
In June 2026, Lycali undertook its first baseline assessment of organisational carbon emissions for the period 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026.
Additional Details Relating to Baseline Emissions
As a growing independent healthcare provider, Lycali has not previously undertaken a formal greenhouse gas emissions assessment. Therefore, 2026 represents the organisation's first reporting period and baseline year.
The assessment identified the organisation's primary sources of carbon emissions as:
- Business travel undertaken by clinicians and staff.
- Staff commuting.
- Energy consumption associated with office-based operations.
- Information technology and digital infrastructure.
- Paper, printing and office consumables.
- Procurement of goods and services.
As Lycali continues to grow, systems will be developed to improve the collection and monitoring of environmental data and support future emissions reporting.
Current Emissions Reporting
Reporting Year: 2026
As this is Lycali's first year of reporting, current emissions are considered to be the baseline against which future reductions will be measured.
The organisation will continue to develop its carbon reporting methodology and data collection processes to support future annual reporting.
